JULIAN E. (JEB) HOWELL, III
After earlier careers as a geologist and real estate developer,
Jeb joined the Resolution Trust Corporation in 1990, where he was
selected to run the Atlanta office of RTC’s auction program,
where he was responsible for the RTC’s first several hundred
real estate auctions in the nation. These highly successful events
resulted in the sale of billions of dollars of real estate back
to the private sector.
In 1992, he left the RTC to head up the Atlanta office of a national auction firm, where he began a series of regular auctions-The Atlanta Quarterly/ Georgia Statewide Auction-which have established a regular “large auction” format for multiple seller/multiple property real estate auctions, and which Auction Management Corporation continues in GA, AL, FL, TN, NC, LA, MS AR, and SC. |
In 1996, he convinced the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games to auction off all the remaining assets of the Centennial Olympic Games, in a series of gigantic auctions which spanned a year. He was one of the first auctioneers in the country to utilize the Internet for auction promotions, and co-owned the first national auctioneer web hosting site, Auctionweb.com..
In March of 1998, he started Auction Management Corporation, where he serves as President. His company conducts real estate auctions in all states in the U.S, and he personally holds real estate and auctioneers licenses in over a dozen states.
Howell has earned the top designations in the auction industry, the CAI (Certified Auctioners Institute) and AARE (Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate). He has a B.S in Geology from University of Colorado, and an M.B.A. in Real Estate from Georgia State University.

SCOTT K. SCHWARTZ
Scott has been Chief Auctioneer with Auction Management Corporation
since 1998. He is responsible for overseeing all auction operations
of the firm.
Scott has been in the auction business for his entire professional
career. While still in high school, he worked with Alfred A Robinson
Company, a regional auction firm, in their Atlanta office. After
graduating from Shorter College in 1991, he continued with this
firm, conducting and managing multi-property auctions in GA, LA,
and TN.
In 1993, he joined another Atlanta- based auction firm, where he served as sale manager and chief auctioneer for their multi-property auctions. While there, he conducted auctions in GA, AL, FL, SC, VA, and MN, among other states.
Scott is regarded as one of the top bid callers in the southeastern United States. |

JEFFREY D. (JEFF) DUNCAN
Before Jeff entered the auction business, he spent eight
years in the banking industry. After working three years with
a southeastern regional auction firm he formed Palmetto Auction
& Realty, Inc. As the business expanded, he formed J. Duncan
& Associates in an effort to provide that same service to
clients throughout the Southeast. After working on a cooperative
basis for several years with Auction Management Corporation, he
joined the firm as President and Broker of the Carolina division,
in Clinton, SC.
Jeff is a graduate of Clemson University and South Carolina Bankers
School. He also holds the CAI (Certified Auctioneers Institute)
designation, as well as the Accredited Auctioneer, Real Estate
(AARE) designation, held by only a small number of auctioneers
throughout the United States and Canada. |
Jeff's responsibilities include business development, company management, and client services. His experience includes auctions for the US Small Business Administration, Business Development Corporation, GE Capital Small Business Finance, attorneys, estates, and individual property owners.
Jeff currently serves in the South Carolina House of Representatives. As a State Representative, Jeff serves on the Agriculture, Natural Resources & Environmental Affairs Committee.

TIMOTHY E. TISE
Tim recently joined the Atlanta office of Auction Management Corporation,
after 24 years in the development and marketing of residential
and condominium communities. He served as President of Realty
Marketing Corporation and Vice President of Realty Development
Corporation, where he developed and sold over 2,500 new homes
and condominiums.
Tim is a Georgia licensed Broker and Auctioneer. He has a B.S.
from University of Tennessee, a Masters in City Planning from
Georgia Tech, and a Law degree from Woodrow Wilson College of
Law. Tim is a licensed Private Pilot. |

MARSHA H. HOWELL
Marsha is a licensed auctioneer and real estate broker.
She assists in auction marketing and administration of our auctions.
She has been in the real estate business for over 25 years. She
began in property management and leasing with Johnstown Properties,
then served for over 5 years as regional portfolio manager with
Balcor, a national multifamily owner. After several years in new
home sales, she moved into commercial leasing and sales for EBC
and HQ/ Vantas, both national firms, before becoming Associate
Broker with AMC Realty, an Auction Management Corporation affiliate.
She works in the Atlanta office of Auction Management Corporation. |

RICHARD SAMMONS
After working for AMC for several years on a contract basis, Rick
joined us full time in late 2006. He has worked in the auction industry
since 1988 and has participated in a wide range of auctions including
land, homes, estates, and personal property sales. He is accomplished
in contract negotiations and experienced in account management and
client service.
Rick has also had a very colorful career in the music and
entertainment industry. He was a Senior Account Executive with
Muzak, LLC for over ten years and most recently served as
Vice President of Sales for CEI - Atlanta.

CHRIS FISHER, CAI, CES
Chris joined the Auction Management Corporation team in June of 2007, where he serves as our Florida affiliate.
Chris has been in the auction business nearly all of his life. After a 7 year stint in the Marine Corps, he re-joined his father in the family auction business, Fisher’s Auction and Appraisal, in 1986. As Co-Owner of Fisher’s Auction and Appraisal, he continues to serve Central Florida’s personal property auction needs. Chris has conducted nearly 3,000 auctions in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan & New York. He has conducted Estate, Antique & Personal Property Auctions, Business Liquidations, Governmental, Bankruptcy, Charity & Real Estate Auctions. He is a graduate of the Certified Auctioneers Institute (C.A.I.) and the Certified Estate Professional (C.E.S.) Courses. He has attended both classes of the Graduate Personal Property Appraiser course. He is a past Director & Vice President and currently the President Elect of The Florida Auctioneers Association.

MARIO PIATELLI
Mario is President of The Piatelli Company, which is
the West Coast division of Auction Management Corporation following
a merger of operations in 2002. The Piatelli Company, founded
by Mario in 1948, is the oldest continually operating auction
company in California. Started in the wake of WW2 to handle the
liquidation of war assets, by the 1960’s The Piatelli Company
was conducting hundreds of real estate auctions per year. Mario
has conducted most of the largest real estate auction transactions
in California, including thousands of acres and millions of square
feet of commercial real estate. He is unquestionably the best
known auctioneer in California, having sold over 10,000 real assets
in his career.

FREDRIC M. HAVENS
Prior to entering the auction business, Fred worked for 8 years
as Account Executive for E.F. Hutton and Dean Witter, where he
specialized in municipal bonds. In 1988, he opened and was responsible
for the West Coast office of a national real estate auction firm.
He joined The Piatelli Company at that time, where he has served
as Vice President, and continued in that capacity with the merger
of operations of The Piatelli Company and Auction Management Corporation
in 2002. |

EVAN S. HOWELL
Evan is responsible for the Houston TX office of Auction Management
Corporation. He is very active in the Houston real estate market,
and is listed as one of the top 150 Realtors out of 20,000 Houston
Association of Realtor members. He is a licensed auctioneer and
oversees our auctions in Texas and surrounding states. Besides
his Broker and Auctioneer licenses, he is also a licensed Professional
Engineer. He graduated from University o Alabama with a degree
in Engineering in 1981. He is bilingual in English and Spanish
and has extensive contacts within the Hispanic investment community
in Texas. He also owns and manages over 200 properties in the
Houston area. |

PATRICIA L. CLEMENTS
Tricia Clements is the
executive assistant and closing coordinator with Auction Management
Corporation. She received her undergraduate degrees in Management
and Finance from Virginia Tech and her M.B.A (Risk Management
and Insurance) degree from Georgia State University. She works
in the Atlanta office of Auction Management Corporation. |

RICKY HEATON
Rickey joined J. Duncan and Associates, Inc. in November 2004
after 15 years of sales, marketing and buying experience in the
Retail, Technology Staffing, Advertising and Tobacco industries.
His primary responsibilities are account management, new business
development and sales.
Rickey is a South Carolina licensed Real Estate Agent. He has
a B.S. in Political Science from Presbyterian College. |

ROBERT GAMBRELL
Robert Gambrell is responsible for coordinating all elements of
the auction event. From the necessary due diligence, working with
local, county and state agencies, sale preparation, and event
coordination, Robert makes sure that the properties are shown
in their best light and ready for auction. Robert works in the
Clinton SC office. He is a licensed South Carolina Real Estate
Agent. |
